Throughout the year, I’ll be sharing regular progress updates and the impact our fundraising is making. This challenge is about endurance, community, and giving back to a mission I care about deeply. With each mile, I hope to raise awareness for foster care in NJ and generate meaningful support for embrella’s work. Thank you in advance for your support!
About the 2026 Miles for
Dreamers & Believers Initiative
About Collin: I am a New Jersey foster and resource parent who believes deeply in showing up for the people and communities that shaped me. Together, my wife, Jillian, and I are passionate about creating opportunities and support systems for children in care. In 2026, I am committing to biking 2,026 miles – roughly the distance from my home in New Jersey to central Arizona. If all goes well, I’ll make my way all the way across the country (virtually, of course). This year-long campaign is built on the goal to raise funds for embrella, a nonprofit that provides critical resources, advocacy, and support for foster children and foster families in New Jersey.
More specifically, all funds raised will go towards embrella's Dreamers & Believers program. This program helps children and youth take part in activities and receive items that build confidence, support personal interests, encourage learning, and create a sense of belonging.
Ultimately, this program makes it so kids and youth in care can participate in music lessons, summer camp, ballet lessons, driving lessons, or get help paying for little extras like prom outfits, lacrosse equipment, dance uniforms, or even a tablet or laptop.
